Our mission is rooted in providing a nurturing residential home environment, coupled with the strength of partnerships across local Children’s Services, Family Services, and school districts.
Trusting Hearts Youth Services aims to help young adolescents between the ages of 17.5 – 21 years old navigate the transition to adulthood by providing guidance and specific programming. The program aims to expose youth to opportunities in the community, empowering them to make positive changes and teach strategies for success. The founders aim to improve the health and well-being of youth coming through the system, and fill the gap of lifelong parental absence or neglect. The organization aims to expose youth to opportunities for independence, responsibility, and success.
Trusting Heart Youth Services is founded by Freddie Hammad. Trusting Heart Youth Services is a non for profit LLC in Cook County, Illinois, and will be licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. Trusting Hearts Youth Services will be managed by an experienced Executive Director, Sylvia Hammad.
Trusting Heart Youth Services will serve youth aged 17.5-21 that may have troubled histories and have been referred to the program by surrounding departments of youth and family services.
One of our primary responsibilities focuses on working with each resident to develop the necessary skills to move to a more independent living situation and develop goals and strategies for living a healthy, well-rounded life. Transition programming and services will include trauma-informed therapy, life coaching, job placement, money management, credit establishment, secondary education support, and trade school assistance.
Our mission is to provide compassionate care for young women in need, stepping in when their families are unable to do so. At our organization, we establish a secure and stable home environment where youth receive essential provisions including shelter, food, clothing, and a comfortable bed. However, our commitment extends far beyond meeting their basic needs. We strive to create a nurturing home where young adults voices are heard, their presence acknowledged, and their well-being supported.
Our dedicated team goes beyond providing the essentials of daily living; we also prioritize helping young adults overcome the effects of trauma and abuse. By offering a safe and secure environment, we empower them to heal, grow, and thrive. Our ultimate goal is to instill a profound sense of safety, belonging, and resilience within each child we serve.
In response to the growing number of youth requiring alternative care arrangements, we are committed to collaborating closely with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services to safeguard those at risk of abuse and neglect. Our organization aims to establish comprehensive programs that prioritize the well-being and development of youth in our care. We are dedicated to providing the necessary support to address their emotional and developmental requirements effectively.
Our overarching vision is to create an environment where every child can embark on a healing journey, unencumbered by the challenges they have faced. By prioritizing their healing process, we aspire to unlock their full potential, enabling them to flourish in all aspects of their lives.
